There are two types of visas granted to property investors in Dubai a) Property Investor Visa and b) 6 Months Residency Visa. We have outlined some key differences between the two.
- The Property Investor Visa is issued by the Dubai Land Department and is a two-year renewable visa. With this visa, you can become a U.A.E resident meaning and are therefore eligible to apply for an Emirates ID, U.A.E driving license and to sponsor your family as well. This visa is only available for Dubai property investments.
- The Six Month Residency Visa, on the other hand, is issued by the relevant Immigration Authority and is a six-month multi-entry visa. This is effectively a visitor visa that allows multiple entries into the U.A.E. The key benefit to this visa is that it applies to property purchases in all seven Emirates.
But which Visa is the best Visa for me?
It depends on your individual circumstances and requirements. In recommending the better option we look at things like your nationality, your intentions, your budget, your property location, etc. These are all factors to be taken into consideration.
