Philip Smith

Philip Smith heads up our team in Dubai in his role as Managing Partner and in-house Power of Attorney.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Philip graduated with a LLB Bachelor of Laws Honours degree from the University of Dundee in Scotland.  His passion and skill for real estate was evident right from this early stage when he was awarded the English Private Law medal for excellence in Property and Equity & Trusts.

Philip subsequently went on to work for several multinational law firms across the UK before moving to Dubai in late 2012.

Philip’s Dubai real estate career began when he was appointed as Power of Attorney & Client Manager for the legal division of a Dubai based real estate company.  During this time, he managed the Power of Attorney side of the business and his honest and professional approach led to an extensive client base, excellent customer reviews and repeat business.

Seeing a gap in the market, Philip moved to establish himself independently in early 2015 by founding Your POA.  Philip leads the company by example in his capacity as Managing Partner and in-house Power of Attorney and specialises in representing clients in a wide range of property related matters.

Philip’s track record in managing large caseloads, working under pressure to achieve results and negotiating and finalising settlements ensures that clients are represented fully and efficiently in all areas of practice.
